Every woman in her life has to go through this phase called the menopause. This is a situation where the fertilizing capabilities of a woman are lost. This is considered as a milestone in the life of a woman which every one of them has to face. This milestone marks the end of a number of problems that the female goes through during her whole life.
When the process of menopause starts in a female body, the estrogen level in the body begins to drop. This change in the hormone level gives rise to a number of other symptoms like insomnia, fatigue, hot flashes, etc. Sometimes the change in the hormone level also gives rise to the condition called osteoporosis. There are various ways to get rid of the symptoms. If you don’t want to spend money then there are other methods like using some essential oils which can be more than handy. 1. Clary Sage Oil:
Hot flashes is one of the symptoms that normally occurs after the menopause. This is due to the heat that is pulsated throughout the whole body. These rashes can be reduced simply by rubbing few drops of clary sage oil on your neck and on your feet. For quicker action, take few drops of oil in a napkin or tissue and try to inhale this oil in a slow manner. Clary sage oil is also believed to be a good answer to the osteoporosis which becomes common in woman who has just reached menopause.
2. Peppermint Oil:
Peppermint oil is known for the cold sensation it brings to the body. Hot rashes can be treated well by using this peppermint oil. Use of peppermint oil removes any discomfort that is caused due to the hot flashes. For better result try to inhale few drops of oil by using a tissue. Use of peppermint oil also helps in getting rid of any cramps that may occur due to menopause.
3. Lavender Oil:
Lavender is a good prospect for balancing the hormones in a human body. It also helps in removing any discomfort that may occur in the perineal area. If you feel that your perineal is tight and you don’t feel comfortable, take few drops of lavender oil and press it on the area. It is advisable to carry on the press for about half an hour. If during the pressing, you feel any burning sensation or stinging, it is advisable to remove the press. Lavender also is helpful in improving the quality of sleep.
4. Geranium Oil:
Women who are going through the menopause phase can use germanium oil for maintaining the hormonal balance. One or two drops of essential oil when inhaled reduces the stress. This oil is also helpful for those who have dry skin. The other way to use it is adding few drops of oil in water during bath.
